The screen exposes the level of function versus discomfort or pain within specific movement patterns. The movement patterns assessed are the basis of most other movements, giving a solid foundational understanding of your current patterns of movement, and what is needed to progress.
Sub optimal movement patterns that are reinforced daily in life and sport lead to imbalanced biomechanics, possibly contributing to future injury, and this screen helps to create a targeted approach to repairing these biomechanics. This is all done with the intention of establishing a foundation for movement health, symmetry and function in the long-term.

My nutrition coaching practice uses a biopsychosocial perspective which recognizes that your health, performance, behaviors, expectations and preferences aren't just random, but rather a collection of life experiences that shaped you as an individual. From this foundation, our primary focus will be deep health: coaching the whole person. We focus on thriving in all domains of the human experience, which are broken down into 6 categories:

When we develop our deep health we're better able to grow, adapt and potentially even excel as human beings. Even though we can categorize the components, they technically aren't separate, they're all intertwined and strongly connected.
